 THIS  IS MY TRAVELING BLOG 

My name is Nicolás Rivera, i'm 19 years old, i'm in sixth semester of Industrial Engeneer at Icesi University in Cali, Colombia. I like to play soccer, i usually  play on weekends, sometimes i like to read and, also, in my free time, i like to play the guitar.

I would like to travel around the world and what better way to do it that start traveling around my country. I´d like to learn new things about different countries, like cultures, his customs and Colombia is perfect, because people, depending where they are from,  has differents habits, in every region has a typical dance, typical  music or food, every region has his customs.

So, I made a travel with some friends and we  visited a beautiful place, here in Colombia, a place with a big cultural wealth and that attract a lot of tourists.

I am gonna show you my journey visiting the amazing beach of "El rodadero" in Santa Marta, in january of this year.

I'll show you some of the places I visited, and talk a little about them, people who i met and other things.

"El rodadero"
I stayed at the rodadero, which is the most visited beach in the city of Santa Marta. The weather is very nice and there is a lot of people selling things, most of all crafts, and tours. The night,is a great moment, because you can choose between go to club or a restaurant or maybe go to the beach; all the nights gonna be people in the beach listening to the bands playing: vallenato in the majority of cases; clubs around the rodadero are opened, every restaurants and even if you dont wanna go to he beach or to a club, you could rent a bicycle for four or five people and go around the beach, is  very funny.

We rented a bicycle and rode through the rodadero, was very funny because that night everybody rented a bike and all the people rode around the beach.

One night we were in Burukuka, the most famous restaurant-bar in the Rodadero, was very funny and we met some people from medellin and some girls from bogota

We too visited the beach of buritaca, where river ends and  sea start is a wonderful view, you can be in the river and later go to the sea.

Finally if you are in the rodadero you can't go without have tasted the pizza that sell in a place called "El vomito" is a very busy restaurant, in the rodadero.

Traveling is an excellent way to leave  of being stuck in the rut, we can have new experiences, learn about other cultures, meet people from differents places, share with  family or with  friends and with other people. Travel is a wonderful experience and everybody should do it. Traveling we create another perspective of our way of see the world and of our way of see the life.
